Everyday Gets Better

I know it has been a while since I last posted an entry. Have been busy with school & with my beau, has gotten sick [fever, headache, cough, colds].

A friend revealed his feelings for me. “I think I’m in love with you. Sorry. I’m just not sure if it’s right.” I was taken aback. I did not expect some 17-year old guy would fall in love with a 29-year old woman. Sheez!

Bought a new pair of silver open-toe flat shoes. Finally, my old pair of bronze doll shoes can retire now.

Having someone special adds happiness and zest to my life. I am so grateful to God for blessing me with a person who is sweet, thoughtful, caring, understanding, loyal, loving, & most of all, has respect for me. I am praying and hoping we could last for as long as we want it to.

Kudos to my newfound romantic relationship!!!

Pure Luck

What had happened today in school, I can only call it PURE LUCK.

The first one, my professor in Discrete Math II was absent. That is equal to zero nerve-wracking hour. We were able to escape a day of criticism; at least even for a day.

The second one, it was our midterm exam in Comp04 & it was a practical exam. We were being picked in random, then we got to pick which diagram we were goin to perform. I’m so lucky that I got the perform the first diagram, which is the easiest among the three, although there were more components compared to the other two diagrams. I got a perfect score.

I do not know.. I do not know him yet that well..It is too early to tell. I do not know if there is a special reason behind his sweetness & thoughfulness, or if he is just being nice, or if he is just naturally like that. I still have yet to discover.

What everybody regarded as a lion became the tamest one.

What everybody considered has a heart of stone turned out to be compassionate.

We had a small talk & he even gave me a piece of advice on a very serious matter. Am grateful to have had such chance.

It was my friend’s birthday yesterday so we went to her place. Needless to say, there was a drinking session. Since it has been a long time since I last drank, I decided to drink just a bottle of beer.

After consuming half of it, my friends started to notice my face reddening. It was their first time to see me like that so they began making fun of me, “Grabe, di mo pa nga nauubos yung isang bote lasing ka na?” But I was not yet drunk, I was just tipsy.

We all had a great time. A friend was kind enough to drove me home.

We went to Market Market! then to SM Hypermarket yesterday afternoon.

It was Sunday so as expected, there were a lot of people in the mall.

I noticed this new store/shop/gaming facility for kids called Little Martians. Kids get to play with hi-tech gaming gadgets, like the Nintendo Wii. There is also a small space for lounging & eating. I saw only a little part of the store because I only got to peek from the outside.

While strolling around, I noticed & heard families, friends, couples having a sweet fun conversation. It was so heartwarming to see them like that; chuckling, embracing, holding hands.

It made me want to take every opportunity of conversing with someone to make it worth our while, nurture our personalities, & leave a good memory.

I watched “The 40-year old Virgin” last night on HBO, from 11PM until about almost 2AM. It was sooo hilarious.

I listened to Good Times this morning. They talked about religion & I dare not to tackle on that because I do not want to stir trouble. All I can say is Mo’ is one obstinate person.

I texted some friends that I haven’t kept in touch with for quite some time & it was so surprising that they replied. It is either they were not busy or they had enough load to spare. But then again, am so grateful that we were able to exchange several SMS’s.

While exchanging SMS with a friend, the thought of “grab the opportunity once it knocks your door, because it might not come around again” filled my mind. Regrets began to seep through again as I think of the what-could-have-been’s, although I know there is always a purpose behind it.

FRIEND: Hello! how r u? wats up with u?

ME: Am fine..school’s getting to be a drag, though..Kaw, musta na?!

FRIEND: Fine as well…hav a new bf? how r d kids?

ME: Wat d hell r u talkin abt? BF?! U almst bcame my bf..Juz kiddin! Kaw, u hav a new gf or mybe courting sum1?

FRIEND: Nope..no gf’s, no courtships. I almst bcame ur bf? oo nga noh..in a way sayang..

ME: Well, all i can say is that it aint my fault..I had nothin to do with it..i was not d 1 hu left..

FRIEND: Watcha talkin abt? i liked u a lot wen u said “dnt rush [friend's name]..” & then nag james bond kpa

ME: Hey, i liked you too but wen i told u i alrdy wanted to tke it 2 d nxt level u suddenly wanted 2 tke it slow, remember?!

FRIEND: Haha! nag lunch po ako ksama c mom. Wen u wanted me, i realized u were ryt to tke a step bck. But i wanted 2 b close, kso nag james bond ka. ngtampo ako..hehe!

ME: Nga pla, its alrdy lunch tym..i’ve alrdy apologized several tyms & i evn offered 2 treat u out but i nvr got any txt frm u..i guess ur stl not over it. am so sorry & i regret having done that..

FRIEND: Nah it was nothin..jst took me by surprise wen u did it. by d way, u still owe me mcdo! hehe..

ME: I was juz waiting for u 2 txt me wen ur available..So, wen r u free?

FRIEND: Wats ur weekly sked?

That’s all I can share for now..hehe! What is certain is that we are goin to see each other again after more than 2 months. Gosh! it’s been a long time..

Missed a Day

I missed to blog yesterday because I was busy improving the traffic on my weblog.

I signed up on technorati & del.icio.us, famous social bookmarking websites. It lets you store your bookmarks online, which allows you to access the same bookmarks from any computer & add bookmarks from anywhere too. What’s even nicer is that you can share all your bookmarked sites or blogs with millions of people.

I was too occupied familiarizing my way around the two social bookmarking websites, since I wanted to rev up the traffic here. In connection with that, I added a SpringWidget on my friendster profile. It is a widget that contains some of my entries & readers who might want to subscribe to my feed could click on RSS icon, on the upper right of the widget. Subscribers of my feed can also embed that same widget on their own site. They just have to click on the options, then select get embed code.

Exploring the World Live Web, as Technorati refers to the Internet, was very pleasurable & entertaining. There are millions of cool sites that contains anything under the sun…name it, you will surely find it. Like this blog that I dig, COLOURlovers, that is about legends of color. The site also provides goodlooking color palettes for your designing needs–be it a website, ad campaigns, or even in architectural specifications; everything you can think about colors.

School was a drag today. I got a very low score in Integral Calculus plus we had a seatwork in Comp04 that I was not able to finish…sigh!
